In addition to trade, the fair offered visitors a vibrant 12-day experience with concerts, exhibitions, children’s and youth activities, and street performances. The fair was inaugurated with a magnificent parade featuring the Balkan Folk Dance Festival groups, and this year’s guest of honor country was Bosnia and Herzegovina. Many institutions, chambers of commerce, and cultural representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina — particularly the municipalities of Tuzla, Stari Grad and Centar — took part in the fair. In addition to Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, India, Ukraine, Cambodia, and Côte d’Ivoire also took part in the fair, enhancing its international atmosphere. High-level delegations visiting the city for the B40 Cultural and Economic Cooperation Summit also toured the fair, contributing to İzmir’s diplomatic and cultural network.
For 12 days, the fair offered visitors an enjoyable and enriching experience with a full program ranging from exhibitions and concerts to workshops and sports events. The 94th İzmir International Fair was visited by 776.843 people.
