Izmir Metropolitan Municipality will organize the Rotary International Women's Water Polo Tournament with the attendance of teams from Turkey and Greece within the scope of the 100th anniversary events of the Republic of Turkey.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality will host the 100th Anniversary Rotary International Women's Water Polo Tournament within the scope of the 100th anniversary events of the Republic of Turkey. The tournament will be held at Kültürpark Celal Atik Swimming Pool on 29-30 September and 1 October, in cooperation with Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club and Izmir Göztepe Rotary. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club Water Polo Team, which will represent Turkey in the Len Challenger Cup, and Olimpiakos and Panionios teams from Galatasaray, Greece will participate in the tournament. The matches will be broadcast live on Youtube (Izmirbbsk).

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club President Hüseyin Egeli stated that they will host a very significant tournament. He said, “As part of the 100th anniversary events of the Republic of Turkey, Greek and Turkish teams will contest in this tournament. Before the preparations for the Len Challenger Cup, all teams will play important practice matches.”
