National taekwondo athletes of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club won one gold and one bronze medal at Kazakhstan Open Taekwondo Tournament.
Taekwondo athletes of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club continued their successful run in Kazakhstan. Competing in the International Kazakhstan Open Taekwondo Tournament, held in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, on June 24-25, which awarded points towards the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, the national athletes won one gold and one bronze medal. İzmir athlete Kaan Yelaldı, competing in the 54 kg category, won the gold medal, while Zehra Gürbüz, competing in the 46 kg category, won the bronze medal.
Following their successes at the Altaic Language Countries Taekwondo Championship, the athletes once again stood on the podium, continuing their consistent performance on the international stage. Kaan Yelaldı won a silver medal and Zehra Gürbüz won a bronze medal at the Altaic Language Countries Taekwondo Championship.
