Working in line with İzmir Metropolitan Mayor Tunç Soyer's goal of making İzmir a city of fairs, İZFAŞ is bringing together the optical glasses and ophthalmology sectors in the city for the first time this year. OPTIC World İzmir Fair will be held on 8-10 March at Fuar İzmir. OPTIC World İzmir, where only professional visitors can attend, will be the meeting point of the optical industry and international brands.

Established with the aim of making İzmir a city of fairs, İZFAŞ, the fair organization of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, continues to bring new fairs to the city by taking into account the suggestions of sector representatives and professional committees. OPTIC World İzmir - Optics, Eyewear, Ophthalmology and Technologies Fair, hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, implemented by İZFAŞ, with the proposal and leadership of the 32nd Professional Committee of the İzmir Chamber of Commerce and with the contributions of the 3rd Regional Chamber of Opticians-Ophthalmologists, will open its doors to visitors on Friday, 8 March at Fuar İzmir.   OPTIC World İzmir, which brings together new technologies, accessories and equipment developed to improve the quality of vision or to respond to aesthetic pursuits and prepares to bring them together with the professionals of the optical sector, can be visited until the evening of March 10.

Pioneers of the optical industry and innovations in İzmir

While hosting famous brands and innovative products, the fair will also bring together the pioneers of the optical industry and high-tech products, offering exhibitors the opportunity to follow the latest developments in the sector and establish new business contacts. The product groups of the fair are eyeglass frames, spare parts for eyeglasses, optical industry machinery, sunglasses, sports glasses, protective glasses, optical lenses, contact lenses, contact lens accessories and care equipment, eyeglass cases, sunglass lenses, optimetric, ophthalmological devices and accessories, ophthalmological measurement, diagnosis and treatment devices, machinery and equipment for optical workshops and laboratories.

The visitor profile of the fair consists of opticians and optical sector employees, glass manufacturers, frame manufacturers, spare parts exporters and sellers, machinery importers and sellers, retail stores and store chains, material companies, companies seeking distributorship, designers, sector institutions, ophthalmologists, eye and eyewear institutions and organizations, eyewear accessory manufacturers.

New agreements will be made

With the fair, it is aimed to support the increase in brand awareness of the sector, to encourage new collaborations in the optical sector, to provide the opportunity to open up to new markets, and to bring professional sectoral visitors together with manufacturers.

OPTIC World İzmir aims to contribute to the economy of the city and the country by creating a space where the latest technological developments in the optical sector can be followed and new collaborations can be established. Nearly 100 industry professionals from countries such as Bulgaria, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Algeria are expected to attend the B2B programs to be held at the fair.
