İzDoğa, a company of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, became the authorized institution to issue İzmir Transformation Certificate. Accredited by NAC (National Accreditation Centre), İzDoğa is entitled to be the certifying body for companies and their products that recycle without human exploitation.
Companies that employ waste collectors in the production chain under good conditions and with insurance, and observe the health of their employees will be entitled to receive the İzmir Transformation Certificate after completing İzDoğa's certification audits. Recycling companies that receive the İzmir Recycling Certificate will prove to consumers that the products they put on the market are not subject to labor exploitation and thus increase the added value of their products.
The certified organizations will be given the right to use the "İ" logo which has been specially prepared for this program to be used on their products. Thus, the İzmir Transformation Certificate will create a social security shield for street collectors, while protecting the environment and increasing the earnings of the organizations that receive this certificate.
What is İzmir Transformation Certificate?
"İzmir Transformation" is a certification program prepared by İzdoğa within the scope of ISO 17065.
The program aims to promote social justice by improving the employment conditions of waste collection and recycling workers and to play a pioneering role in improving the living standards of sector workers.
The program also aims to protect and increase the welfare level of employees and to ensure that waste collection and sorting activities are carried out in harmony with nature.
