CHINA WILL CELEBRATE SPRING FESTIVAL IN IZMIR |

Chengdu, the fourth largest city of China, is preparing for “Chinese Spring Festival” event to be held in Izmir in February.
The delegation led by the Chinese Communist Party’s Chengdu Committee Assistant Secretary and Chengdu Deputy Mayor Zhu Zhihong visited Izmir Metropolitan Municipality.
The Mayor Kocaoğlu was given details of the cultural event organized with the “Chinese Spring Festival” to be held in Izmir in 2018. Zhihong gave a speech on this visit attended by Liu Zengxian, the People’s Republic of China’s Consul General in Izmir, and mentioned that Izmir is a very dynamic city, especially in terms of economy. “The two cities are very similar to each other. We know that Izmir is a very important city for fairs and we place great emphasis on fairs. When we go back to our country, we will advise the Chinese companies to attend to Izmir Fair that has been rapidly growing in the last years” said Zhu Zhihong.
The president of Chengdu delegation added that a 20-person art performance group is going to perform a dramatic art show, namely the traditional “Bian Lian (Face Changing)”, at Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center.
