Cuban Ankara Ambassador Luis Alberto Amoros Nunez visited Metropolitan Mayor Tunç Soyer.
Luis Alberto Amoros Nunez said that Cuban companies operating in the health sector want to invest in Turkey, and said: “We are looking for stakeholders who want to do joint work. We will be very happy to cooperate with Izmir." Nunez said that a delegation, which would include representatives of Cuba's Ministry of Health, would visit Turkey next March.
Tunç Soyer said “We have Agamemnon hot springs in Balçova dating back to 1200 BC. We want to improve ourselves in this area by investing in our health heritage from the past. We are ready to host investors to invest in our city for Advanced Technology Health Research and companies that will operate in the health sector. I give particular importance to the cooperation of the two countries for a healthy future” .
