The Travel Turkey Izmir Fair will be held between the 2nd and 4th of December.

The Travel Turkey Izmir Fair and Congress, which will be hosted in Fuar Izmir between December 2-4, will bring together Turkey's and the world's leading tourism sector representatives.

The fair will be organized by IZFAS and TURSAB Exhibition Services Inc. for the 15th time this year, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Commerce, hosted by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, with the support of the Izmir Chamber of Commerce, TURSAB, TUROFED, Izmir Foundation, and will bring together 500 exhibitors from 22 provinces and 5 countries, with visitors from 58 countries.

Tunc Soyer, Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, stated: "Representatives from the tourism industry who wish to get off to a productive start in 2022 will gather at our fair, where new opportunities in tourism will be introduced. Our 14th Travel Turkey Digital Fair, which we hosted digitally, was also Turkey's first virtual exhibition. Despite the negative impact of the pandemic at the start of 2021, we are pleased to expand the borders of our fair, which is the lifeblood of the sector, pulls the tourism route of the new era, and was extremely successful. This year, we are organizing Travel Turkey Izmir Fair as a hybrid fair. We will bring together the participants and the customers who were unable to attend the fair via online platform. The fair, I believe, will be a turning point for Izmir and Turkey. At the fair, we will see many firsts, such as innovative concepts and special activities that will enliven the tourism sector.  I think that our tourism fair, which is expanding and developing on a daily basis, will inspire all of Turkey and the world, strengthen the tourism sector, and create a mark in the world by laying out a tourism road map for 2022." 

New fair for alternative tourism enthusiasts
15th Mayor Soyer stated that the TTI Outdoor Camping, Caravan, Boat, Outdoor, and Equipment Fair will be held for the first time this year concurrently with the 15th Travel Turkey Izmir Fair, and said, "This public fair will answer the needs of all alternative tourism enthusiasts that make the desire to be in touch with nature a lifestyle between the 2nd and 5th of December. While displaying the Aegean Region's natural lifestyle, the concept of "returning to nature," which has recently gained popularity, will also be debated at the fair. This fair fits well with our mission of making Izmir the leading city for living in harmony with nature."

15th Travel Turkey Izmir Fair special exhibitions and events
The "Sanliurfa Haleplibahce Mosaic Exhibition" will provide visitors with a visual feast at the 15th Travel Turkey Izmir Fair, which will bring together professionals from the global tourism sector in Izmir. Automobile enthusiasts will be able to view classic cars manufactured between 1938 and 1980. For the first time, the Travel Turkey Izmir Fair will exhibit the "Tragacanth Doll - The Language of Anatolia, Colors of Turkey Exhibition," which will feature tragacanth dolls that best describe the colors of Turkey. In the "TTI Tech Stage" area, topics such as digital transformation in tourism, online distribution and strategies for expanding into new markets, global payment platforms for hotels, the power of online platforms in growing platforms, practical hotel management in city hotels, digitalization and new trends in airlines, and techniques for converting data into revenue will be discussed. As a result, sector representatives will be kept up to date on global advances in digital tourism.

The Travel Turkey Izmir Fair, which is open to professional visitors for the first two days, will be open to the public on the final day. The fair will be open from 10:00 am until 05:30 pm.
