Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which organized its first international organization in wheelchair basketball by hosting the Andre Vergauwen Cup in 2008, is signing another very important championship. The Group A matches of Eurocup 2, which is one of the most important European cups in wheelchair basketball, will be held in Izmir on March 10-11 Dec. Sports fans will be able to watch the matches at Celal Sports Hall for free.
8 Matches will be played in two days
In addition to Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club, Fenerbahce Göksel Çelik, Meylan Grenoble Handibasket from France, Orto-Medico Scyzory Kielce teams from Poland will participate in the group matches. Friday March 10 Fenerbahce Fenerbahce Göksel Çelik Izmir BBSK – Fenerbahce Göksel Çelik matches will be played at 11.15, Meylan Grenoble Handibasket-Orto-Medico Scyzory Kielce at 13.30, Izmir BBSK- Meylan Grenoble Handibasket at 18.00, Orto-Medico Scyzory Kielce-Fenerbahce Göksel Çelik matches will be played at 20.15. Saturday March 11th will see the Fenerbahce Göksel Çelik- Meylan Grenoble Handibasket at 09.00 and the Izmir BBSK-Orto Medico Scşzory Kielce meetings at 11.15.
According to the points received by the 4 teams after the matches between them, the teams that are third and fourth in the group will meet again at 15.45, and the first and second-placed teams will meet again at 18.00.
