The Sociologist Prof. Dr. Thomas Faist, who speaks on the third day of the Second Century Economics Congress; said that “the Climate events occur slowly, and lead to faster immigration. When we look at immigration of the future, probably ;  we will reach a point of no return.”
The University of Bielefeld lecturer - sociologist Prof. Dr. Thomas Faist who speaks on the third day of the congress, make  a speech about  “Climate Destruction and Transnational Socio-Ecological Problem” - Immigration. Faist indicated that “the International migration can be defined as a multidimensional economic, political, cultural, and demographic process that extends beyond continuous movement from one nation-state to another, encompassing the numerous connections between two or more locations within a large number of nation-states."
The Climate events bring the problem of immigration.
Faist used this statements : “The People in the southern hemisphere are most affected by natural disasters. When we look at the immigration of climate, these emerge commonly as a result of the climate change. The Climate events occur slowly, and lead to faster immigration. It's hard to estimate the future but but there are rapid results just like the melting of the Himalayas. . This has indirect effects not only on immigration but also on civil conflicts. Of course, there are many reasons for changing of location , migration. However,  it's not difficult to determine the climate settlers.  When we look at immigration of the future, probably ;  we will reach a point of no return.”
We have to resist,  to solve the immigration problems.
Faist also stated that host countries sometimes do not accept climate refugees. ““the Climate settlers create conflict in the political entrance and output area. The climate change arose as a security threat. A dilemma and a vicious circle arise in the country of immigration. The settlers look like the victims. Consequently, people should be proactive. People should make an effort to resolve the consequences. So they should resist. The thing called resilience can be thought of as the suppression of external forces. When we look at the climate change, we see people being separated from their families. For this reason;  when we look at the resistance, it should be considered as a notion. There are social inequalities. The resolutions need to be long-term and lasting, in terms of issues such as access to education and health. The Social sciences should be used efficiently in climate change.
