A group of photography enthusiasts from Izmir and Hungarian photographers visiting the city as a part of “2 Countries, 1 Camera” project completed a 3-day city tour. The guests travelled all around the city for three days and photographed historical and natural beauties of the city.
The project was launched in cooperation with Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, Hungary Embassy in Ankara and Izmir Honorary Consulate, and the group photographed Kemeraltı, Basmane and Alsancak, which are at the heart of city’s historical background, and Urla, Sığacık and Bademler Natural Life Village, which are at the borderlines of the Peninsula, as well as the most important touristic destinations; Selçuk, Ephesus and Şirince.
The Hungarian Ambassador Gabor Kiss accompanied the lively and joyful tour of Izmir. The second phase of the project will be a photo shoot in Tokay Region, Hungary. An exhibition will be organized in September to display a special selection of the photos.
