Tunç Soyer, Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality hosted Carlos Martins Ceglia, Brazilian Ambassador to Ankara, and Ali Tamer Bozoklar, Brazilian Honorary Consul to Izmir.
Stating that he could not travel due to the pandemic even though he worked in Ankara for more than a year and a half, Carlos Martins Ceglia said that it was his first visit to Izmir.
Tunç Soyer, Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality also stated that they want to strengthen the cooperation between Brazil and Turkey, and that working groups can be formed with the business world in Izmir. Ali Tamer Bozoklar, Brazilian Honorary Consul to Izmir, said that Tunç Soyer performed important services during his mayoral term in Seferihisar, and that one of the most striking of his works was Cittaslow (Slow City).
