A quarter-final date in Europe |
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club will face Antalya Konyaalti Municipality in the EHF European Women's Handball Cup quarterfinal first leg on Wednesday, March 1 (tomorrow). Sunday March 5th Dec rematch match between the two teams will be held in Izmir.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club, which is part of the summit competition in the Handball Women's Super League, will be a guest of Antalya Konyaalti Municipality on Wednesday, March 1, at 16.00 in the EHF European Women's Handball Cup quarterfinal first leg. Sunday March 5, Dec. 16.30, the rematch match between the two teams will be held in Izmir and the team that reaches the semi-finals will be announced. The match will be managed by the South Cypriot referees Efstathios Efstathiou, Charalambos Charalambous duo.

Coach Senar Dayat, who said that we are going through a difficult period as a country, said, “We are very sorry about the earthquakes in our country. While thousands of people have died, tens of thousands of people have been injured. We are deeply saddened. Our match, which was supposed to be played in February, was postponed by EHF. One of the two Turkish teams will make its name in the semi-finals. We're ready. We want to be the side that passes the round on Sunday by finding the advantageous score with a good game,”he said.
