So Glad To Be in İzmir |
Miora Stefan, the Romanian Consul General officiating in Izmir since 2015, and Nathalie Marti, the Swiss Consul General in Istanbul, visited Izmir Metropolitan Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu in his office.
The Romanian Consul General Stefan, who lives in Izmir, mentioned that he has been closely observing the improvement and positive changes in the city and added “Izmir is such a beautiful city and so different from other cities all around Turkey; I always say I am so glad to be working in Izmir”.
Nathalie Marti, the Swiss Consul General in Istanbul, said that she is pleased to be visiting Izmir for the second time and added that she likes the city very much.
The Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu presented a silver model of the Clock Tower as a souvenir of this visit and Ms. Marti presented a “Swiss Army Knife”, one of the traditional items of her country.
