Germany Office of Investment is a Good Choice |
One of the most efficient names in Federal Republic of Germany Bremen State, Martin Günther Minister of Economy, Labor and Ports and his accompanying council visited Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu in his office. Thomas Gerlach Germany Federal Republic Izmir Consul General, Bremen Izmir Investment Office and executives of companies which carry on business in wind energy sector in Bremen took role in the guest commission.
German Minister Günther stated that one of the leading reasons why they visit Izmir is to develop the collaboration possibilites “We’ve seen that we made a very rightful initiative Bremeninvest which we have opened 5 years ago. We’ve chosen Izmir for its development potential and for new collaboration possibilites and specialities of being a sister city. I’m glad to be here.” He said.
Izmir has been developing till 2010 below its potential, since 2010 Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu states that Izmir has risen above its level and added “International institutions confirm this development. Izmir has a growing potential for long years. Because Izmir has superiority in logistics. It is a city to live. The people are open minded, there is no security problem. At night or in day time, local residents and foreigners, politicians can enter all streets. Izmir has a high potential in wind energy, Mayor Kocaoğlu reminded that there are serious investments in wind energy power plants “In petrochemical, silver, automotive supply industry, textile, marble, agriculture products Izmir has a good situation. We have a growing structure within Organized Industry Region scale. Besides automotive supply industry in Kemalpaşa, plastic organized industry region is founded in Menemen. 60 hectares of developing area is reserved for Aegean Free Zone. All of these display rapid growth in Izmir.
