Lower Saxony Fair Chairman of the Board of Trustees is in Izmir |
Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu hosted Germany Lower Saxony Minister of Economy, Work and Transportation Olaf Lies and his board accompanying. The meeting’s main theme which German businessmen attended, was Collaboration Search in Fair Organizations.
In the warm visit, investment opportunities and collaboration of Lower Saxony and Izmir which has made a big leap in fair organizations.
Minister Olaf Lies gave a speech in the visit in which Federal Republic of Germany Consul General Thomas Gerlach and Lower Saxony Parliament members, Chamber of Commerce and Trade Representatives and German businessmen attended, stated that Izmir has a very big experience in international fairs and they believe that high level fairs will be held and he wants to make collaboration between two countries, get in touch with different regions and improve cooperation possibilities.
Mayor Kocaoğlu gave a detailed information in Izmir’s investment advantages and said “We’ve made fair complex Fair Izmir to improve the fair organizations. This is a center which is outstanding in quality and quantity. It is very near to airport and city center. We are trying to widen the complex with new fairs. We are ready for new cooperations.”
