International Credit Rating System Fitch Ratings published a new credit analyse report these days in which exchange rate in motion. It is estimated that for the finance state of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality’s cash balance will be stable in 2015-2017 and meet all investment expenses.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality’s national long term credit note which is “AA+”, long term credit note (BBB) in local and foreign currency level of “investible” is confirmed.

According to Fitch’s declaration, by courtesy of operating margin and wealthy economy Izmir Metropolitan Municipality continue to be strong, by means of strong activity performance it is recorded that  Izmir Metropolitan Municipality has the capacity to easily meet the debts.

In his statement, it is emphasized that Izmir made new debts for sizable investments, debt portfolio motion is multi national and long term and by these means it has reducing effect.  Fitch declared that Izmir Metrpolitan Municipality met 97% of the capital expenses.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu said related to the Fitch Ratings’ last report:

“Depending upon domestic and foreign economic conditions and inspite of the waves in financial martkets; we continue to be strong with transparent, stable, cautious financial investments. The state which is known very well by us, is confirmed by Fitch as “investible”. The progresses in national and global finance system and economy will effect our city us more or less. One of our sensibilities is to protect our municipality from these events. As Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, we follow national and global developments.”
